Tea, Tinsel & Treats – A Festive Day Out

Residents from The Willows Care Home recently enjoyed a delightful festive afternoon outing that brought plenty of smiles and Christmas spirit. After requesting a special seasonal treat, the group set off to the charming Small Talk Tea Rooms for a traditional cream tea with a festive twist. They enjoyed freshly baked scones, warm mince pies and spiced tea.

With appetites satisfied and spirits high, the afternoon continued with a visit to The Liberty Shopping Centre, where residents got into the Christmas spirit browsing for gifts and soaking up the magical winter atmosphere. The highlight of the day was meeting Santa himself in his grotto, complete with a few memorable photos to take home!

The trip was a perfect way to celebrate the season, spending time together and embracing the festive joy that makes this time of year so special. Everyone returned to The Willows beaming, already talking about where the next outing might take them!
